Businesses located in or serving the Kingston Pike/Sequoyah Hills area are invited to become business sponsors of KPSHA. This sponsorship supports our efforts to operate, advocate, and implement programs for the beautification and common good of the neighborhood. An annual sponsorship is $1000.00.

Fred Trainer grew up in Knoxville and enjoyed the Sequoyah riverfront parks like many Knoxvillians. That experience along with his passion for history and architecture drew him to this neighborhood to both live and work. His wife, Amy, spent holidays and special occasions in the neighborhood as her mother and grandmother lived in SH for decades. Fred and Amy love to tour and study residential architecture and there is so much to study in this neighborhood. Fred started his business in 1998 as a custom home builder and remodeler. The remodeling aspect of his business and the Sequoyah neighborhood has been a perfect fit. After 25+ years of building in the neighborhood, it's a great feeling to drive around and see his work on almost every street.

It's one of Sequoyah's 4-5 oldest homes at 101 years, and it's fun to think that the elementary school and some of the neighborhood's finest homes may have been worked on in the office of our home.
