Labor Day Picnic Is Here!

The official end of summer, Labor Day Weekend, is upon us. Although with this heat, it feels like we are in High Summer !!! Monday, September 2, 2024, is the annual Neighborhood Picnic sponsored and presented by your Kingston Pike Sequoyah Hills Association. Hours are 5:00pm-7:00pm; location is the Link-House ball fields on Cherokee Blvd. The actual address is 1214 Cherokee Blvd.

For your ease and comfort we will have a large tent to provide shelter, the bluegrass band TRUE BLUE, food trucks including Big O’s BBQ, Wood Oven Eats and Pelican Snow Cones, and for the kids there will be a balloon artist and a face-painting artist. Bring your blanket for a picnic on the ground or your chairs to sit under the tent.

We plan a kickball game for neighbors, teams to combine adults and kids. Sign-ups for teams will be on-site.

Do you have a Family-Favorite portable Dessert? Bring it to share with your neighbors and you could possibly have bragging rights for a year as BEST NEIGHBORHOOD DESSERT !!!

The Picnic is open to all residents of Sequoyah Hills Neighborhood.  As always, we would appreciate renewing your membership, becoming a new member, or giving a donation.  Check-in will be at the Entrance Membership Desk at the Link-House Ballfield.  Check/Cash only, no credit cards.  Or CLICK the link below to become a KPSHA Member.  Thank you to residents who have already paid membership dues for 2024.
